Door to door, one crew, one price
A long-distance move introduces two problems a local move does not have: time on the road, and the temptation for a carrier to hand your load to somebody else halfway. We solve both by keeping the same crew and the same vehicle from loading to delivery, and by quoting a fixed price that includes fuel, tolls and overnight costs.
Anything over 250 miles is planned as a dedicated run rather than a shared load, so your delivery date is a date and not a window.
Tracking
You get a link that shows the vehicle’s position and an updated arrival estimate for the whole journey. The crew lead’s number is on the same page. Nobody should have to phone an office to find out where their furniture is.
What changes over distance
- Inventory. Every item is numbered and condition-checked at both ends.
- Packing standard. Long journeys mean more vibration, so fragile goods are double-packed as standard rather than as an extra.
- Insurance. Full-value protection is included above 250 miles.
- Timing. We agree a delivery date at booking and a two-hour arrival window the day before.
The commonest long-distance complaint in this industry is not damage. It is not knowing. That is a solvable problem, and we solved it.
Interstate paperwork
Crossing a state line brings its own regulations and its own paperwork. We hold the licenses, carry the bond, and file what needs filing. You sign one document at each end.
