Disconnect, move, reconnect — and fix
Appliances are the part of a move most likely to go wrong after the truck has gone. A washing machine moved without its transit bolts arrives with a damaged drum. A fridge laid on its side and plugged in the same evening loses its compressor. Both are avoidable, and both are common.
Our appliance team handles the disconnection, the transport and the reinstallation, and can repair what does not survive the journey — including appliances we did not move.

How it works
The engineer disconnects on the morning of the move, fits transit bolts where the manufacturer supplies them, and travels with the appliance rather than behind it. At the far end, everything is reconnected, levelled and tested before the crew leaves — a wash cycle on the machine, a temperature check on the fridge, a burner test on the hob.
If a unit is faulty on arrival, we diagnose it on the spot. Most repairs are a part and an hour; anything larger gets a written quote before we start.
